Mumbai Indians super left-arm spinner Kumar Karthikeya, who left home at the age of 15, returns home after 9 years.!

Recently, the Indian media had mentioned that the 4-year-old Indian youth player Kumar Karthikeya returned to his home after 9 years. It is said that he left home at the age of 15 to stop being a financial burden on his family. He had to work in a factory for a long time until his cricket dream came true.

He won the IPL for Mumbai Indians this year and his team in the Ranji Trophy was Madhya Pradesh. Karthikeya, a left-arm off-spinner, won the first-row berth for Madhya Pradesh in the 2018 season. After that, due to his performance in limited opportunities in three T20 matches, Mumbai Indians decided to bid for him.

Karthikeya, who returned home after 9 years and 3 months after many successful tournaments, added a photo on his official Twitter account and said, “Met my family and mom after 9 years and 3 months. I can’t express my feelings.”

Speaking to the Indian media, he said, “I did not come home for 9 years. I decided to return home only when I achieved something in life. My parents talked to me all the time, but I gave up. Now finally I am coming home after IPL. My coach Sanjay sir had suggested my name for Madhya Pradesh. “My name came up as a regular in the Under-23 team in the first year itself, and I felt a great sense of relief to see my name on the list,” he had commented.
