Indian batsman Rishabh Pant was seriously injured in a car accident and was taken to hospital.

Indian wicketkeeper/batsman Rishabh Pant has been seriously injured in a car accident on Friday (30/12/2022) morning.

The 25-year-old was driving from his home in Roorkee to New Delhi when his vehicle reportedly hit a road divider around 5:15 am.

Eyewitnesses say Pant’s car caught fire, but he sustained injuries to his head, back and legs
He was able to escape from the vehicle.

Several news reports claim that Pant was later admitted to Saksham Hospital near Delhi but was shifted to a hospital in Dehradun. The media reports that he is currently in a stable condition.
